Preparation: Building Momentum in Portimão
The team arrived on Wednesday, kicking off setup and preparation for the demanding circuit. Thursday and Friday were

dedicated to fine-tuning the #71 BMW GT4 EVO. Saturday’s testing saw the drivers meticulously working on race lines and adapting their setups to extract the maximum performance from the car. Lap after lap, valuable data was collected, setting the stage for a competitive weekend.
Race 1: Climbing the Ranks
Qualifying for Race 1 placed car #71 in a solid P10 position on the grid. The team knew opportunities for advancement were plentiful, and the drivers delivered a determined performance. Battling through the field with precision and consistency, they climbed four spots to finish P6, earning critical championship points.
Race 2: Consistency in the Points
In Race 2, the momentum continued as car #71 crossed the line in P8. Though the race was a more measured affair compared to the previous one, the team’s consistency in the points reflected the strength of their strategy and execution.
Race 3: A Calculated Gamble on Slicks
The final race of the weekend provided the most drama. Lining up in P11, the team made a bold decision to run slicks as the damp track began to dry. Initially, this gamble appeared to pay off spectacularly, as car #71 set the fastest lap of the race with an astonishing 4-second margin over the competition. However, Portimão’s unpredictable weather had other plans, as a sudden shift

in conditions forced the team to fight hard to stay in contention. Despite the challenge, the team brought the car home P15 overall, but with a silver lining: securing P1 in their class. The result underscored their resilience and adaptability, even when circumstances turned against them.
Looking Ahead: Valencia Awaits
