Century Motorsport Confirm Guest GT3 Entry for Silverstone 500

Century Motorsport will return to the British GT Championship for the upcoming Silverstone 500 with a guest GT3 entry, fielding the BMW M4 GT3 EVO for drivers Will Moore and Jon Kearney.

Moore, who is currently competing in the GT World Challenge Europe series alongside Mex Jansen and Jarrod Waberski, will use the event to gain further seat time in the car ahead of the next GTWC rounds. He will be joined by Jon Kearney, who makes his British GT and GT3 debut at Silverstone.

Kearney began racing in 2022 in the Ginetta GTA Championship, finishing runner-up in his first season behind fellow Century GT4 driver Ravi Ramyead, with two wins and ten podiums. He continued his strong form in 2023, securing four podium finishes and two wins across ten events. Most recently, Kearney competed in the 24 Hours of Barcelona, finishing third in class.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, Kearney said:

“I’m very excited and feeling positive for the Silverstone 500. The pairing with Will and Century in the BMW has come at a good time in my progress. Testing has been solid and, while we know it’s a guest entry, we’re not here to make up the numbers.”

Moore added:

“I’m really looking forward to getting back on track in the UK and joining the British GT grid for the Silverstone 500. It’s a great opportunity to get more mileage in the BMW M4 GT3 EVO, which will only help as we continue our GT World Challenge Europe campaign. Racing at Silverstone is always special, and with the support of Century and Jon alongside me, I think we’ve got a solid package for the weekend. We’re aiming to make the most of it.”

Team Principal Nathan Freke commented:

“I’m really pleased to be back in the British GT paddock with a GT3 entry, even if just for one round. It’s a great chance for Will to get more seat time in the car, which will benefit his GT World Challenge campaign. Racing in the UK also means he’ll have support from family and friends, which is always a bonus.

I’ve known Jon for a long time and we’ve often spoken about working together. This event presented the right opportunity. He’s new to the car and class, but he’s a quick and capable driver, and I expect him to adapt well. We’re looking forward to a solid weekend.”

Century Motorsport is approaching the event with focus and optimism, aiming to gather valuable data and deliver a strong performance at the British GT’s flagship endurance round.
