Competing in his second year of racing in the GT Academy, Shelley now steps up from the Rookie class and continues his journey this year with Century Motorsport, as they also embark on their second year in the championship.
Looking to take his racing to the next level this year, the Yorkshireman’s goal is to establish himself as a competitive driver in the series and challenge for podium finishes. He has been working hard on preparing for this season and is ready to compete against fellow returning GTA drivers, Ed Acres and Ravi Ramyead.
“I’m excited about the upcoming Ginetta GTA season and am determined to make the most of this opportunity. I’m looking forward to working hard and improving my performance, as well as building strong relationships with my team and fellow drivers.”
“I’m grateful for the support of Century Motorsport and am eager to represent them on the track. I’m excited about the prospect of being part of a professional and experienced team, and I believe that their knowledge and expertise will be invaluable in helping me achieve my goals. I’m eager to learn from the team’s mechanics and engineers and work closely with my fellow drivers to maximise our performance as a team.”
The opening weekend of the Ginetta GTA is underway at Oulton Park this bank holiday Easter weekend.
