Century Motorsport is proud to confirm an experienced and competitive driver lineup for the 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain, featuring returning Masters Class race winner Carl Cavers alongside Irish racing veteran Michael Keohane. Combining proven race winning pace, technical expertise, and championship experience, the duo strengthens Century Motorsport’s campaign as the team targets success in the Masters category in one of the UK’s most competitive single make championships.
Carl Cavers – Returning with Century Motorsport for Porsche Carrera Cup GB
Carl Cavers continues with Century Motorsport for the 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup GB, building on an outstanding 2025 season where he finished as the Masters class Vice Champion. A long standing and highly valued member of the Century Motorsport family, Cavers has combined extensive experience across GT and one make racing with a proven ability to consistently extract maximum performance from the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.
In his 2025 campaign, Cavers delivered a string of exceptional results, claiming multiple Masters class victories at Donington Park (2x), Thruxton, and Brands Hatch, and consistently challenging at the front of the category. His raw pace and skill were further highlighted by winning the TAG Heuer Fastest Lap Award, recording the most fastest laps in the Masters class over the entire season.
Returning for 2026, Cavers brings continuity, speed, experience, and refined race craft to Century Motorsport’s Porsche Carrera Cup GB programme, making him a respected and formidable contender in the Masters ranks.
Michael Keohane – Veteran Competitor Poised for Carrera Cup Glory
Irish racing driver Michael Keohane is set to join Century Motorsport for the 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain season, bringing experience and race winning pedigree to the team’s driver line up. Competing in the Masters category, Keohane began his career in single seaters, making a strong mark in British Formula 3 with multiple race wins, including a double victory at Donington Park, and podiums at Silverstone and Knockhill against competitive international fields.
After competing in International Formula 3000, gaining experience at Europe’s top circuits alongside future Formula One and endurance drivers, Keohane steps back into UK competition with Century Motorsport after more than 20 years away from racing. He brings proven race winning ability, technical expertise, and professionalism, aiming to compete at the sharp end of the Masters category in the 2026 Carrera Cup season.
Century Motorsport is confident that this combination of experience and proven race winning talent will deliver strong performances and exciting racing throughout the 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup GB season. The team is excited to continue building on its successful Porsche Carrera Cup program, combining professionalism, pace, and ambition.
“I’m delighted to be racing again with Century Motorsport where I’ll be focusing on my second season in PCCGB and aiming to go one better than last year and take home the Masters Championship.” – Carl Cavers
“Since I stopped racing competitively in 2005 to concentrate on the family business, I have always had the desire to return someday. Time hasn’t diminished that desire and now, following a successful test with Century Racing, I am delighted to announce that I am returning to racing. I was very impressed with team boss Nathan Freke and the entire team and their ethos and was captivated by the unique family atmosphere within Century Motorsport, which was reminiscent of my previous racing experiences throughout my racing career. Reflecting on those experiences, I was fortunate to have the support of a loyal and often large group of motorsport people that journeyed from Ireland and indeed, some parts of the UK to watch my races. I have always considered them to be an integral part of my motorsport family and no doubt, they will join me and Century Motorsport on this new and exciting chapter. The Porsche Carrera Cup GB series is the ideal championship in terms of the family business and the dates are very suitable in that respect. In addition, I have raced in most of the circuits in the UK and hopefully that familiarity will help myself and Century Motorsport to make an impression.” – Michael Keohane
“I am really pleased to be completing our line up in Porsche Carrera Cup GB. The return of Carl is great — he has been a loyal and valued customer to us as we enter our fourth season working together. Last year he took to the Porsche Carrera Cup really well, winning the TAG Heuer Fastest Lap Award, and this year he is looking to come back and be in the fight for the championship once again. I am also delighted to welcome Michael Keohane to the team in the Masters class. It has been a long time since he last raced, back in 2002, but we completed a test with him at Donington Park where he took to the car really well and gelled with the team immediately. We have put together a strong testing programme with Carl and Michael, and we are looking to challenge for the Masters honours this year, as well as fighting for Pro honours with Isaac and Callum as already announced. It is shaping up to be a really good year for Century Motorsport in Porsche Carrera Cup GB, and we are all looking forward to getting going at Donington Park for round one.” – Nathan Freke, Team Principle
