Porsche Carrera Cup GB made its way to Croft on 5–6 September for another crucial weekend of championship racing, with Rosland Gold Racing by Century Motorsport arriving determined to continue its strong form and collect valuable points across the grid.
Following a number of productive practice sessions, the team headed into qualifying with confidence. Championship leader Callum Voisin delivered when it mattered most, securing pole position for the opening race and putting his Porsche 911 GT3 Cup at the front of the field.
It was another impressive qualifying performance from Isaac Phelps, who secured P3 overall, while the Masters class saw a strong showing from the Century Motorsport drivers. Michael Keohane took P1 in the Masters class, with Carl Cavers completing an excellent qualifying result by securing P2.
RACE 1 – A ONE-TWO FOR ROSLAND GOLD RACING
Race day got off to the perfect start for Rosland Gold Racing by Century Motorsport.
With Callum Voisin starting from pole and Isaac Phelps alongside him near the front of the grid, both drivers produced a brilliant performance throughout the race. The championship-leading duo controlled the pace at the sharp end of the field, ultimately crossing the finish line in P1 and P2 overall.
It was a fantastic one-two finish for the Rosland Gold Racing pairing, with Callum taking victory and Isaac following closely behind to complete a memorable result for the team.
In the Masters class, Michael Keohane also delivered a superb performance, taking victory and adding another class win to his growing collection of strong results.
Unfortunately, Carl Cavers’ race came to an early end following an incident which forced him to retire. Despite the disappointment, the team remained focused on maximising the results available across the weekend.
RACE 2 – ANOTHER DOUBLE PODIUM
The second race of the weekend provided another opportunity for Rosland Gold Racing by Century Motorsport to fight for more championship points — and once again, the team delivered.
Callum Voisin continued his impressive weekend with another podium finish, crossing the line in P2 overall. Isaac Phelps was never far behind and produced another excellent drive to finish P3.
The result gave Rosland Gold Racing by Century Motorsport a second consecutive double podium, capping off an outstanding weekend for the team.
There was also more success in the Masters class, with Michael Keohane producing a superb performance to take another P1 finish. Having won the Masters class in both races, Michael enjoyed a fantastic weekend at Croft and maximised his championship points haul.
Carl Cavers bounced back strongly to finish P2 in the Masters class in Race 2, adding valuable points to the championship table and rounding out a successful second race for the Century Motorsport squad.
A WEEKEND TO REMEMBER
Croft proved to be another hugely successful weekend for Century Motorsport and Rosland Gold Racing.
With Callum Voisin securing pole position before converting it into a Race 1 victory and following it up with P2 in Race 2, Isaac Phelps matched that consistency with P2 in Race 1 and P3 in Race 2.
The two drivers combined for four overall podium finishes across the weekend, including a fantastic one-two finish in Race 1 and a double podium in Race 2.
Michael Keohane was equally impressive in the Masters class, taking two victories across the weekend, while Carl Cavers added a further Masters podium in Race 2.
With the championship fight continuing to intensify, every point is becoming increasingly important. The results at Croft provided another valuable haul for the team and strengthened the championship campaigns as the season heads towards its final stages.
What a weekend for Rosland Gold Racing by Century Motorsport — two overall double podiums, two Masters victories, pole position and a huge collection of valuable championship points.
