British GT headed to Snetterton on 15–16 August for Round 6 of the championship, and Century Motorsport delivered a weekend packed with strong pace, podiums and valuable championship points.
Following a successful run of practice sessions, qualifying got underway with plenty of confidence across both the GT3 and GT4 programmes.
In Qualifying 1 for Race 1, Jonathan Beeson put in a superb lap to secure P3 in the GT3 Silver Am class, while Jack Collins followed closely with P4 in the GT4 Silver class.
Qualifying 2 saw another strong performance, with Charles Clark claiming P2 in GT3 Silver Am and Branden Templeton securing P5 in GT4 Silver.
Race day arrived with momentum on our side, and our GT4 pairing of Jack Collins and Branden Templeton delivered in style. The duo stormed to P3 overall in GT4, putting themselves firmly on the podium. In GT3, Charles Clark and Jonathan Beeson brought the car home P5 in the Silver-Am class, collecting important points in the championship battle.
Then came Race 2. Charles Clark and Jonathan Beeson initially crossed the line in P3 in GT3 Silver-Am, but following a post race review, the pair were promoted to P2, securing another podium for Century Motorsport.
In GT4, Jack Collins and Branden Templeton went one better, finishing P2 in the Silver class to claim their second podium of the day.
Two races. Three podiums. Plenty of championship points.
Snetterton delivered a hugely positive weekend for Century Motorsport, with both programmes strengthening their position in the championship standings.
After six rounds, Charles Clark and Jonathan Beeson sit P2 in the GT3 Silver Am championship, while Jack Collins and Branden Templeton move into P3 in the GT4 overall championship.
With the championship battle heating up, the team now turns its focus to the next round, carrying plenty of momentum from a very successful Snetterton weekend.
