MASTERING THE UK’S FASTEST CIRCUIT

The Porsche Carrera Cup GB arrived at Thruxton Circuit, the fastest circuit in the UK , for another action packed weekend, and Rosland Gold Racing by Century Motorsport arrived with championship momentum firmly on their side.

With Callum Voisin leading the Drivers’ Championship, Isaac Phelps leading the Talent Pool Championship, and the pair heading the Team Championship standings for Rosland Gold Racing by Century Motorsport, expectations were high heading into the weekend.

Our Masters drivers, Carl Cavers and Michael Keohane, were equally confident and ready to fight at the fastest track in UK.

 

 

 

STRONG START IN PRACTICE

The weekend got off to a flying start, particularly in the Masters class.

Michael Keohane topped both Free Practice sessions, with Carl Cavers finishing P2 in both, immediately showing the pace of the Century Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars.

In the Pro class, Callum Voisin finished P4 in Free Practice 1, with Isaac Phelps close behind in P5. The pair improved in FP2, with Callum moving up to P3 and Isaac finishing P6.

With the pace clearly there, the team headed into qualifying with plenty of confidence.

VOISIN TAKES POLE

Qualifying delivered another impressive performance from Callum Voisin.

Showing exactly why he sits at the top of the championship standings, Callum secured pole position for Race 1, while Isaac Phelps qualified P3 in the Pro class.

The Masters class continued its dominant form, with Carl Cavers taking P1 and Michael Keohane securing P2 in Qualifying 1.

In Qualifying 2, Callum lined up P6, with Isaac P4, while Carl and Michael once again locked out the front of the Masters class with P1 and P2 respectively.

 

 

 

 

VOISIN CONVERTS POLE INTO VICTORY

 

Starting Race 1 from pole, Callum Voisin delivered a superb performance.

Keeping his composure and maintaining P1 throughout, Callum crossed the line to take a brilliant Pro class victory, adding another important result to his championship campaign.

Isaac Phelps produced an equally impressive drive to finish P3 in the Pro class. A late penalty initially dropped him to P5, but following a post-race review by Race Control, the result was officially reinstated, confirming Isaac in P3.

The Masters class once again belonged to Century Motorsport, with Carl Cavers taking P1 and Michael Keohane finishing P2.

ANOTHER MASTERCLASS IN RACE 2

The pace continued into Race 2.

Michael Keohane converted his strong weekend into another Masters victory, with Carl Cavers following closely behind in P2 to secure another one-two finish for the team.

In the Pro class, championship leader Callum Voisin delivered a superb recovery drive. Starting P5, Callum produced brilliant pace throughout the race to fight his way onto the podium, finishing P3.

Isaac Phelps brought his Porsche home in P5 in the Pro class, adding further valuable points to his championship campaign.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A WEEKEND OF CHAMPIONSHIP MOMENTUM

Thruxton proved to be another hugely successful weekend for  Century Motorsport.

Rosland Gold Racing drivers Callum Voisin taking a Pro class victory and a podium, Isaac Phelps adding crucial championship points, and Century Motorsport’s Carl Cavers and Michael Keohane dominating the Masters class with multiple one-two finishes, the team leaves Thruxton with plenty to celebrate.

Behind every result was a huge team effort. From the mechanics working tirelessly to deliver the best possible Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars, to the wider Century Motorsport team creating an exciting experience for fans throughout the weekend, everyone played their part.

Fast circuit. Fast cars. Fast drivers. Another unforgettable weekend for Rosland Gold Racing by Century Motorsport.
