Porsche’s vision is to create the perfect race car, and the 911 GT3 Cup (Type-992) is a step closer to achieving this. The car is faster, more durable, more efficient, and even safer than its predecessors. It is quite simply a pure-bred race car and a precision instrument for the race track.
Developed from scratch, the engine offers even greater power output than the previous model. The four litre six cylinder boxer engine delivers up to 510 hp at 8,400 rpm and 470 Nm at 6,150 rpm. Drive force is transmitted to the rear axle by a racing clutch, a Porsche six-speed sequential transmission, and a limited-slip differential.
The 911 GT3 Cup has won numerous races and championships, most recently claiming the 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup GB Overall Championship, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Teams Championship, and the Porsche Carrera Cup AM Vice Championship, driven last year by Andrew Rackstraw, George Gamble, Carl Cavers, Angus Whiteside, and Henry Dawes.
Looking ahead to the 2026 season, the car will compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup as Rosland Gold Racing by Century Motorsport, with the exciting young driver pairing of Isaac Phelps and Callum Voisin.
