April proved to be a relentless and rewarding month for Century Motorsport, tackling a demanding triple header of race weekends. With appearances across the GT World Challenge, Porsche Carrera Cup, and the prestigious British GT Silverstone 500, the team carried strong momentum into the latter stages of the month.
Following a productive test sessions, Century Motorsport arrived at Donington Park with five Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars and a confident driver lineup. Representing Rosland Gold Racing by Century Motorsport in the Pro class were Callum Voisin and rising talent Isaac Phelps, while Carl Cavers, Henry Dawes, and Michael Keohane competed under the Century Motorsport banner in the Masters class.
Qualifying Sets the Tone
Saturday’s qualifying session delivered an excellent foundation for the weekend. In the Pro class, Callum Voisin secured P2, with Isaac Phelps close behind in P3, an ideal starting position for both drivers. In the Masters class, Michael Keohane claimed pole position, while Carl Cavers locked out the front row with P2, putting Century Motorsport firmly in control heading into Race 1.
Race 1: Breakthrough Victory and Mixed Fortunes
Race 1 delivered excitement and drama in equal measure. Callum Voisin showcased exceptional racecraft, battling hard across 24 laps to take victory on his debut in the Porsche Carrera Cup. Climbing from P2 to P1 in his first appearance marked an outstanding achievement.
After an incident at the start of the race dropped him down the order, 16 year old Isaac Phelps showed remarkable composure and determination, fighting his way back through the field to secure an impressive P5 finish in the Pro class with a brilliant drive.
In the Masters class, fortunes were mixed. Pole sitter Michael Keohane was forced into a Lap 1 retirement following an unfortunate incident. However, Henry Dawes stepped up to secure P1, while Carl Cavers completed a strong team result with P2.
Race 2: Consistency and Determination
Sunday’s second race saw continued strong performances. Callum Voisin fought hard in a reverse grid race to secure P2, underlining his consistency and pace across the weekend. Isaac Phelps added another solid result in the Pro class, recovering from an unfortunate setback at the start that sent him to the back of the grid, before charging through the field to secure an impressive P6 finish.
In the Masters category, Henry Dawes delivered a flawless weekend by securing a second P1 finish, completing a dominant double victory. Carl Cavers mirrored that consistency with another P2, rounding out an exceptional showing for the team.
Unfortunately, luck continued to evade Michael Keohane, who suffered a second retirement, resulting in a double DNF despite strong pace throughout the weekend.
Callum Voisin now sits second in the Porsche Carrera Cup overall drivers’ standings, just one point behind the championship leader after his strong Donington Park performance. In the Masters class, Henry Dawes continues to lead the driver standings following his dominant weekend. Both drivers head into the next round in a strong position to fight for their respective titles.
Century Motorsport leaves Donington Park with strong results, valuable points, and clear momentum. The team demonstrated pace, resilience, and depth across both classes, with standout performances from both experienced drivers and emerging talent.
With confidence high, attention now turns to Brands Hatch in the first week of May, where the team will look to build on an already impressive start to the season.
