A Weekend to Remember: Century Motorsport Celebrates GT4 Triumph and Four Podium Finishes
Century Motorsport enjoyed a sensational weekend at Oulton Park as Rounds 2 and 3 of the British GT Championship took place from 23–25 May, delivering outstanding performances, multiple podium finishes, and a memorable first overall GT4 victory of the season.
The Cheshire circuit provided the perfect backdrop for an action packed weekend, with both Century Motorsport cars showcasing impressive pace throughout qualifying, warm up, and race day.
Strong Qualifying Pace
Qualifying for Round 2 saw Century Motorsport secure excellent starting positions across both classes. In GT4 Silver, Jack Collins delivered a superb lap to claim P2, while Charles Clark secured P3 in the GT3 Silver Am category.
For Round 3, the team’s momentum continued as Branden Templeton qualified P4 in GT4 Silver, while Jonathon Beeson secured P3 in GT3 Silver Am.
Dominating Warm Up
The team’s confidence continued to build on race day, with both Century Motorsport entries topping their respective classes during the warm up sessions, underlining the pace and preparation that had been developed throughout the weekend.
Round 2 Glory: First GT4 Overall Victory
Round 2 proved to be the highlight of the weekend.
After a hard fought and highly competitive race, Branden Templeton and Jack Collins produced a standout performance to secure the overall GT4 race victory. The win marked a major milestone for the pair, earning them their first coveted “Golden Tooth” for their race winning “Chomp” celebration.
Meanwhile, in GT3 Silver Am, Charles Clark and Jonathon Beeson battled strongly throughout the race to secure an impressive P3 class finish, adding another podium to Century Motorsport’s growing tally.
More Silverware in Round 3
The success continued into Round 3 as both Century Motorsport crews once again found themselves on the podium.
Branden Templeton and Jack Collins fought hard to secure P3 in the GT4 Silver class, adding another strong result to their victorious weekend.
In GT3, Jonathon Beeson and Charles Clark maintained their consistency and pace, claiming another P3 finish in the Silver Am category to round off an excellent weekend for the team.
A Weekend to Remember
Across two races, Century Motorsport celebrated four podium finishes, class victories, and a landmark overall GT4 win, making Oulton Park one of the team’s most successful weekends of the season so far.
The performances demonstrated the strength, determination, and teamwork throughout the entire Century Motorsport operation, providing plenty of momentum as the championship heads into its next event.
Next Stop: Spa-Francorchamps
The British GT Championship now moves to the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium on 20–21 June, where Century Motorsport will look to build on its Oulton Park success and continue its charge through the 2026 season.
After a weekend packed with silverware, confidence is high as the team prepares to take on one of motorsport’s most legendary venues.
