Century Motorsport Wins Silver Class at Monza – GT World Challenge

Victory in Monza: Century Motorsport Takes Silver Class Win in GT World Challenge Europe

Monza, Italy – Century Motorsport and the BMW M4 GT3 Evo made a powerful statement this past weekend at the legendary Autodromo Nazionale Monza, claiming their first Silver Class win in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. Under the scorching Italian sun, the team demonstrated resilience, pace, and perfect execution in a race that tested both drivers and machinery to the limit.

The weekend, which ran from May 30th to June 1st, was marked by beautiful but intense weather, with track temperatures climbing toward 30°C. From the outset, Century Motorsport showed promise—finishing Free Practice P4 in class, a clear indicator of the BMW’s potential pace.

Qualifying took place on Sunday morning, just hours ahead of the three-hour race. Despite strong performances during testing, the team could only manage P8 in the Silver Class. Understandably, the drivers were slightly deflated but remained optimistic about the race ahead.

When the green flag dropped at 15:00, it was time to deliver. Jarrod Waberski took the opening stint, carving through the field with confidence and putting the team in contention early on. Will Moore kept the momentum alive during the middle phase, managing traffic and maintaining the car’s position.

Then came Mex Jansen, tasked with bringing the race home. In a thrilling final hour, Jansen climbed into the class lead with 35 minutes to go, fending off a relentless challenge from WRT’s Silver entry. A brief drop to P2 didn’t deter him—with 13 minutes remaining, he retook the lead in dramatic fashion and never looked back.

Crossing the line in P1 in class, the team celebrated not just a win, but a breakthrough performance on one of motorsport’s most iconic circuits. Century Motorsport’s first victory at Monza marks a major milestone in their 2025 campaign and a well-earned reward for months of hard work and development.

Now, the focus shifts to the next big challenge: the Spa 24 Hours, taking place at the end of June. With momentum on their side, Century Motorsport is gearing up for the biggest test of the season.
